I remember one of the Moffatt's songs "if life is too short", i never understood what the whole "life is too short" is all about. Such a cliche line. dulu, rasa mcm, mana ada life is short, macam lamanya. but as i grow older, i realised how true that is. It feels like yesterday i was 12 years old, busy with UPSR, active in Taek Wando and Gymrama. Life was so easy back then, all i have to worry is my studies, and enjoy the company of my friends. 13 years down the road, i have no idea where it went, all i know is that i did not expected the things i have been going through, especially this particular year.

When i was younger, i imagined one day, my grandparents will go. And i cant believe that, i am in that stage if my life already. I can clearly remember going to my arwah nenek's place, and minum her home made sirap pandan, and she makes the best ayam goreng in the world. Now, that is just a distanced memory. No matter how "small" that memory is, insyaAllah i will always remember it.

Lately i feel like god is testing me. I cant really say what exactly it is, but i feel like this is the first "adult" test i have ever experienced. I have always dreamt for an easy life with a lot of money, but true enough, life is too short to care too much about money. Life is too short to care about what people think about you and what status you are.

But whats more important i think is that i realised, life is too short to compare yourself to other people who might look like they are doing better than you, but really, its the good deeds that you do that is more cherish-able when life is over.

and whats been up.

So, a lot has happened the past few days. I have been so busy since Wednesday and i wasn't in the best mood to blog, due to my family big loss, pemergian my arwah nenek ke rahmatullah.

But at the same time i had to make the best of my last few days in Melbourne.

My friends and i had a mixed futsal game on Tuesday, just because im leaving and ira was leaving too. Thanks for the turn ups boy and girls :)

On Wednesday night, my colleagues from Lili/ Charlie Brown had a small farewell dinner for me @ Cookie Bar. I had their awesome soft shell crab, but i have to say the say place was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, it wasn't the best place to sit and have an intimate chat. It was night catching up with them tho. i love working with them and i am blessed to have the opportunity to meet these women. I love u ladies and good luck with your future undertakings :)

Today i had 2 girly dates. Mia and i had Las Chicas brekky at Balaclava, i highly recommend people to try their breakfast because the have the best egg benedict i have ever had in my life. And of course i cant leave Melbourne without having my last belgium waffle @ Degrave Street. Its a pity the Melbourne Council made them take their waffle's stand in the store.. Wonder what happened to the picture that Belgium guy took with Rio Ferdinand. He was so proud of it.

Shura and I then met up for what suppose to be a girls-night-out, became girls-night-makan-dinner-then-too-penat-to-go-anywhere-else. We did enjoy a bit of Zara Melbourne session.

Zara's price here is cheaper than Malaysia for some reason. In my opinion, i seriously think this will disrupt the Australian local fashion brand, as their price is affordable and better quality (they are made in Spain, Turkey and Portugal, not China for a start). And i heard a rumour that they are opening a Top Shop here in Australia. Good luck Sportsgirls and Forever New, you are in deep @#%^. But i will always support the Australian brands!!

We had Oriental Tea House for dinner, and my prawn dumpling decided to berenang in my air.. nyeh nyeh nyeh.

Finally had Jamaican Bananas pancake at pancake parlour and penutup to hari yang begitu banyak makan.

Oh!! i would also like to congrats my childhood friend, Nik Izhar, and his lovely wife, Adyla, congratulations on the nikah today! Alhamdullilah! So happy for you too! See you at the reception!

I love you uwan, even with my tight busy days, i will try my best to do'a for you as much as i can.

It kills me not to be able to attend you tahlil tonight, but i pray and hope that your soul be placed amongst those that Allah loves. hi guys im back

i decided to blog again because.. hmm i just feel random.

So as many of my close friends already know, im leaving Melbourne (for good? who knows.) next week. Pretty sad, but at the same time im excited to be with my family real soon. This is what i have been doing for the last 2 weeks of my Melbourne days.

1.Work work work @ Lili.

I was informed that as of end of July, Lili Spencer and Docklands will not exist anymore. Im guessing we are not making money? I saw this shop from the start, and worked till the end of the brand's life. I must say, i did learnt a lot of the dos and donts and retail world. But to be honest, i had enough of working there. Time to move on and get a real job.

2. Spending quality time with my love ones
I will absolutely miss the people that i know, grew up, and shared experienced with in Melbourne for the past 7.5 years. woah, thats pretty long.

3. We had a small pot luck farewell last Saturday night. Good turn ups. We had meatballs, kfc halal, roast chicken, pasta, ore cake dan lain lain lagi makanan yg menggemukkan.

Thank you Ira, Shura, Shunit, Iqbal, Idzfan, Okie, Zamir, Zarif, Riz, Azlan, Reza, Nisa, Izzat, Khai, Piyan, Wanie, Hanum, Suhayl, Aina, Tanti, Mia, Hez, Hariz, Hariz's fren, Tanty, Anisha, and Dat for coming. Im blessed to know all of you people.

4. Shopping like ka-ka-ka-razy.

Okay its winter sale in Australia now, i swear winter sale memang terbaik- better than boxing day to me as a matter of fact. Bettina Liano, gorman, mimco, just a few names that has a good sale. Damages. boy imma miss the shops here.

5. Last but not least, i spent time with the 2 most important person/ thing in my life.

Mike and Uncle D,na na na. Love u to bits.

6. I just got back from the gym @ idz's place, ran for good 30 minutes, felt so malu coz the people in the gym were big muscle-ly guys, and there it was a small buncit asian girl running on the treadmill, it was rather intimidating i must say. fyi people, nike running shoes sucks, when i first used the shoe in Manchester for a jog, i had the worst pain on both feet, and other time i pakai pun still sakit, so i have made my conclusion that the shoe is good for nothing. ok bye.

7. Tengok Cerita melayu.

Guys if u have not watch Magika, please do so, its a pretty good Malay Musical Movie. "A" for effort for KRU production. And i watched "Aku tak Bodoh" last night, at first i was pretty skeptic to watch the movie, but it turned out to be an awesome movie, very good for parents especially. Sucky movies; Khurafat n Hantu Kak Limah... ahhaha i don't know why org bising sgt suruh tgk cerita tu, tak boleh terima thanks.

Anyway, im gonna try and blog more. but i always say that anyway. nite nite peeps.

btw i didn't know people are still reading this blog, hahaa i thought i tengah syok sendiri. ok ill try and update more. But to be honest, I don't exactly have an interesting life going on...

Just arrived in Melbourne a couple of days ago, and at the moment im just figuring things out. But it seems like ill be leaving this country for good in a couple of months. Time to move on i guess? It such a scary idea after 7 years of growing up in Melbourne.
